new zinc-chromate-free Priomat®
1K Wash Primer 4085 belongs
to the future generation of
advanced primers. What makes
this product so innovative is
that it can be used beneath
any top coat system. A versatile
product, it can be used either
as a wash primer in a single
coat followed by 2K Acrylic
Surfacer or as a primer surfacer
in one to three coats.
Optimal adhesion
on all conventional metal substrates,
excellent corrosion protection
and good top coat flow are further
positive features of Priomat®
1K Wash Primer 4085. Thanks
to its high yield – with
a 15 µm dry film thickness,
one litre is sufficient for
an area of about 15 square metres
– and efficient application
(wet-on-wet or with sanding
between coats), it displays
outstanding practical properties.
Priomat®
1K Wash Primer 4085 is a GREENTEC
Line product and hence innovative,
economical and VOC-compliant.
Its VOC emissions fall well
short of the limit of 780 g/l
specified for wash primers.

4085 is available in light grey
to suit the chosen top coat
color.
